GATOP (God's Answer To Our Prayers)
The Solomon estate is as unique as it is beautiful and contains several gardens, water features, outdoor sculptures, a blacksmith shop and sits on an old marble quarry. Even some of the trees with their long, twisted trunks and branches look like sculptures. And if all that isn't enough to enjoy then feast your eyes on the lovely views of the Great Smoky Mountains just beyond the Tennessee River. The property is listed in the Smithsonian Institution's Archives of American Gardens.
You will see the owner of GATOP and a news reporter in some of the photos below. Dr. Alan Solomon was being interviewed by a WBIR 10 News reporter. Here's the actual news footage they were filming while I was taking those photos.
